Reloading the Webpage

We will start with the simplest fix. If you are unable to access the webinar, try reloading the page. The reload button might look a little different, depending on your device or browser, but trust me, it's there! I highly recommend using the latest version of Chrome for the best experience. You'll be amazed at how many times simply reloading the page can resolve your issue.

Run the Compatibility Checker

If you are still struggling in properly connecting or viewing the Virtual Stage, the next thing to try is our compatibility checker. Built within Sequel.io's chat interface, scroll down to the Profile tab, then select on Run Compatibility Checker and follow the steps. The checker will first check your browser — if you're not using Chrome, you'll get a recommendation to switch. This is mostly an issue for presenters, so don’t worry too much if you're just watching a webinar. Next, the checker will ensure that your devices (camera, microphone, etc.) are all set up properly. You can test your audio output during this stage as well as check your camera settings. Lastly, you will undergo a connection test to look for any network issues.

Check for Network Issues

Hopefully, by now, you have access to the webinar. However, if you're stuck with compatibility issues or don't see the checker at all, this is likely a network issue. A company firewall or VPN might be restricting access to Sequel.io. If you suspect a VPN is causing the issue, try disconnecting from it and accessing the webinar again. Alternatively, you can test using another device or by joining a hotspot— this will help isolate the issue! If you're still unable to access the webinar, it might be due to the company firewall. In this case, reach out to your IT team for assistance. They can check the recommended ports and white-listed domains in our Help Center or contact us at support@sequel.io.
